Made from polyurethane and the same Alcantara material used in genuine Ferrari steering wheels, the steering wheel features 15 integrated LEDs* and 2 rotary switches to optimize ease of use and gaming efficiency. Compatible with Thrustmaster's racing ecosystem on PC (Windows 10/8/7), the TS-PC RACER Ferrari 488 Challenge Edition offers various advanced Thrustmaster technologies, such as the Turbo Power external power supply, the Motor Cooling Embedded system and a 40-watt motor with excellent responsiveness providing enhanced force feedback.

- 40-watt brushless motor. The powerful motor generates precise effects and delivers incredible speed - from long locking corners (STALL mode) to super-fluid zigzags (DYNAMIC mode).
- Embedded Motor Cooling System. Prevents overheating and optimizes noise-free operation (patent pending).
- Field Oriented Control (F.O.C.) algorithm. Ensures surgical precision without loss of power, even with intensive torque demands. The integrated algorithm dynamically optimizes the built-in H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) system and its 16-bit resolution (65,536 values).
- Turbo Power Unit. This specially designed external power supply, incorporating a toroidal shaped body with a finless design, delivers an impressive 86% efficiency (with only 14% heat dissipation), plus a spectacular maximum power output of 400 watts!
- Mixed gear and belt-pulley system. This system, together with a shaft mounted on metal bearings, provides extremely smooth and quiet operation.
- Robust fastening system. The flywheel base is compatible with all mounting surfaces (desks, 'racing booths', etc.) to ensure stability when running.
